comment is free

I have written the following comment in the Guardian, 23th of June, under an article Free speech isn’t under threat. It just suits bigots and boors to suggest so

With climate we have here a real problem!

Should we see the boycott by BBC of anti-alarmist speakers, or the fact that the Guardian doesn't speak anymore of climate-change but calls it climate crisis ... should we see that as stopping a debate because it's over?

That comment is accepted (see attachment).

Someone answered me, saying: 97%-3% is a pretty unbalanced equation - suggesting that the debate is really over.

I sent in a new comment: 97% is as big a hoax as climate-crisis is.

Within half an hour that comment was removed because it didn't abide by our community standards.

Was it a tart comment? I do not think so. The science is far from settled. If you follow the money then you see a lot of alarmists who are driven solely by self-interest. Speaking of a climate-crisis is spreading panic.

So, I tried a new comment: This discussion does prove: there is no freedom of speech. I mentioned the fact that the 97% consensus is a big debate, as is there a big debate on the climate-problem. And it is! That comment is removed by the moderator. Reason: because it didn't abide by our community standards

That last comment was removed within a few minutes, without telling the reader that they had removed another comment of mine
.

It just suits bigots and boors to suggest so is wel het toppunt van cynisme.

Voor het eerste speldeprikje zie: mankind stumbles from blunder to blunder
