aristocracy … or: how to address a would-be king

Putin is a dictator. When they talk about Russia, they use the word dictatorship.
.
About the migrant protests ….
Miller, manager of the White House, wrote: this constitutes an insurrection against the laws and sovereignty of the United States.
Hegseth, secretary of Defense, speaks of a violent mob and a huge NATIONAL SECURITY RISK (his capitals).
Trump, the president himself, calls it liberating Los Angeles from the migrant invasion.
They know how to address their enemies.

Strange, when we talk about USA we say “it’s no longer a stable country “ (NYT, David French).
Often “near to an aristocracy”.
Trump is not an aristocrat. Trump is vulgus. He’s a plebeian. A member of the rabble.

Bernie and AOC like to use the word oligarchy.

Why don’t we call it for what it is?
Why do we use these euphemisms?
A rose is a rose is a rose … The United States of America is now a dictatorship.
Trump is a dictator.
